Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician- Night Shift

Starting pay ranges from $24 to $28 per hour based on previous work experience.
Our Maintenance Techs work 12-hour shifts, 8 pm to 8 am. The work schedule is 3 days on 2 days off, 2 days on 3 days off.
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following:
Maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery including but not limited to extrusion operations, slitters, pelletizers, and other related equipment
Performs diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment including wiring circuits, control devices, PLCs, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, power transmission, heating/cooling equipment, and hoists
Fabricates using a band saw, drill press, acetylene torch, welding machine, lathe, milling machine, etc.
Performs preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication, filter replacement and routine inspections
Reads and understands equipment manuals, schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams
Works safely, identifies unsafe conditions and takes action to mitigate
Offer ideas for improving the performance of the operations
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
Must have multi –craft maintenance experience. Fabrication experience is a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude, good mathematical and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate forklift and man lift
Associate degree in electrical or mechanical technology preferred
