The Recruiter drives full cycle recruiting activities, including, job postings, screening/interviewing, scheduling interviews, pre-employment screens, new hire orientation, leveraging community/professional partnerships and hiring events,
Essential Functions
Partner with hiring managers to assess current and future staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Post job postings on hiring sources like Indeed to generate inbound applicants.
- Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community agencies and resources.
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates via resume databases and social media to develop candidate pipelines.
- Pre-qualify resumes, conduct phone/video interviews and present qualified applicants for further consideration.
- Maintain recruiting records tracking recruiting activity such as candidates contacted, interviewed, hired, sourcing channel and time to fill.
- Work with designated temporary agencies and manage those vendor relationships.
- Report on established KPIs, including time to fill and hiring target goals,
- Present new hire orientation and on-boarding programs.
- Provide administrative support to HR Team.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or combination of equivalent education and experience required
- 2-4 years of experience in high-volume full cycle recruiting – experience in manufacturing a plus.
- Proven ability to proactively source, pre-qualify, and interview candidates.
- Knowledge of employment recruiting principles and processes.
- Basic knowledge of Human Resource functions including onboarding and employment law.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
